You will work as part of a flexible and creative team, building trusting relationships and delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support. This role includes key worker responsibilities, where you will coordinate and personalise support to help young people achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a positive role model, maintaining high standards and a safe, supportive environment
  • Deliver regular key work sessions focused on developing independence and life skills
  • Support young people with education, employment, training, leisure activities, finances, and benefit claims
  • Work closely with social workers, personal advisors, and other professionals to support positive outcomes
  • Safeguard young people and follow all relevant policies, procedures, and Ofsted regulations
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and person-centred records using electronic systems
  • Support young people to plan and prepare for their move-on to independent living.

What We’re Looking For

  • A warm, calm, and non-judgemental approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
  • A genuine commitment to trauma-informed and psychologically informed practice
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure

What We Offer

  • Meaningful work supporting young people to build their futures
  • A supportive team environment
  • Ongoing training, supervision, and development opportunities
  • A varied role where no two days are the same

If you are passionate about supporting young people and want to make a real difference in their lives, we would love to hear from you.
