The Role
As a Day Support Worker, you will provide day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support to children and young people within a residential home environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children and young people to feel safe, supported, and included
- Helping maintain positive routines and a calm, nurturing environment
- Building trusting and consistent relationships with children and young people
- Supporting individuals with communication, emotional regulation, independence, and social development
- Responding calmly and professionally to behaviours that may challenge
- Encouraging participation in activities, education, hobbies, and community opportunities
- Working closely with families, carers, colleagues, and external professionals to provide consistent support
- Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing, dignity, and positive outcomes at all times

Working Pattern
Shifts include earlys, lates, long days, and occasional sleep-ins.
