We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and resilient Support Worker to join our team in providing care for young people in a residential setting. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the emotional, social, and educational development of children and young people aged 8–18.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver day-to-day care and support in line with individual care plans
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people, promoting self-esteem and independence
- Assist with daily routines, including school preparation, meals, and bedtime
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals to safeguard and promote welfare
- Encourage participation in education, leisure, and life skills development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to company policies and regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to challenging behaviours, following behaviour management procedures
- Participate in regular supervision, training, and team meetings
- Work flexibly across early and late shifts, including weekends and holidays
Requirements:
- Experience in a professional care setting within the UK
- Proven ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and consistent under pressure
- Genuine passion for supporting young people and making a positive difference
- Flexibility to work mixed shift patterns, including early mornings and late evenings
