Support Worker for a 2-Bed Children’s Home
Are you a caring and dedicated professional who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children? We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join our small, supportive team in a 2-bed home, supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities. You will help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children feel understood, supported, and empowered to thrive.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support to children
- Assist with routines, behaviour management, and emotional regulation
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and composed manner
- Contribute to care planning, record keeping, and household responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consistent and positive environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working in residential care, supporting children, or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, child development, and supporting children with learning disabilities
- Excellent communication, patience, and emotional resilience
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Full UK Driving Licence
