Job description:

We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join a dedicated and caring team supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties who have experienced trauma and adversity in a residential care setting. As a Support Worker, you will help create a safe, structured and nurturing environment where children can begin to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Support Worker providing consistent care, emotional support, and guidance
  • Support children with daily routines, emotional regulation, and behaviour management
  • Use trauma-informed approaches including PACE and DDP models
  • Contribute to care planning, daily records, and household duties

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Support Worker or in a similar setting preferred
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and child development
  • Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
