We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead one of our Children’s Residential Homes.

What You’ll Do

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the home’s day-to-day management, ensuring the highest quality of care, welfare, safety, and security for all children and young people. You will:

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of staff to deliver therapeutic, child-centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and safeguarding legislation.
  • Oversee admissions, discharges, care planning, and significant event reporting.
  • Manage rotas, staffing levels, and performance to ensure consistent and safe practice.
  • Maintain the home’s Statement of Purpose and ensure outstanding standards during inspections.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary professionals to support each child’s physical, psychological, educational, and emotional development.
  • Promote a culture of reflection, resilience, and growth for both staff and children.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is resilient, motivated, and committed to making a lasting difference.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential childcare.
  • At least 2 years’ experience supervising/managing staff.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Services (or equivalent).
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).
  • Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
