A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join a therapeutic children’s home in Merthyr Tydfil. The home provides a safe, nurturing environment for young people with emotional needs, ADHD and autism spectrum conditions.

You’ll play a key role in guiding and supporting both the young people and your team, making a genuine difference every day.

What you’ll need:

  • At least 12 months’ experience in a children’s residential care setting

  • A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

  • Knowledge or experience of child-centred, therapeutic approaches

  • Great communication skills, with a calm and supportive manner

  • A flexible, caring and resilient attitude

  • A full UK driving licence
